So I’ve just come back in from doing a few things and I look like some sort of drowned rat. Sod’s law that it’ll start to rain when you’re a 30 mins walk away from home with no hood or brolly. But still, it’s generally been interesting.
First fun thing that happened today was that I got three parcels from the postie who was much earlier today at about 11:15. The parcel from HMV contained Lee Mack’s DVD, which I paid a measly £3.59 for. The one from Amazon had the following books: Russell Brand - My Booky Wook; Otis Lee Crenshaw - I Blame Society and Tony Hawks - Round Ireland With A Fridge. The package from Australia contained Tim Tams (thanks Sarah), which was handy cos I’ve just finished the last of mine off.
Then I headed out to the Doctors’ to collect my prescription, which had already caused a kerfuffle yesterday because I was told that I was due a review of it, despite having one two months ago. Anyway, I get there and the receptionist can’t find it under the letter of my surname, where it obviously should be. Now this has happened before and it turned out it was hiding under the letter of my middle name instead. So anyway, the receptionist checks the computer and it has indeed been printed out and lo and behold, it’s hiding under the letter of my middle name. Are people really that stupid to do this twice? It’s not as if I have one of those middle names that could also be used as a surname like James or Thomas (though that’d be weird considering I’m a girl).
Next stop, the library, nothing interesthing there to report, and, come to think about it, nowhere else either. Maybe it wasn’t such an interesting morning after all…
