So we started learning ColdFusion functions and stuff today which was rather fun. I’m not too keen on the idea of us learning ColdFusion though considering that there are other languages that can combine with MySQL that are cheaper and more widely used, the obvious one being PHP. Anyway, I took what I learnt at today’s lecture, got home and worked out how to do the same thing in PHP and I’ve now started implementing it at Angry (Feet), which will, in theory, make it easier to update certain things, particularly menus.

I also decided to e-mail the BBC after they had [this picture], which is clearly of a gerbil, labelled as being of a mouse. The result? It’s now a nondescript “rodent”. I guess it’s a victory of sorts.

I went bowling this evening too. Lost all three games (yay) and managed to cut my thumb on my own fingernail in the process. Still, it was fun though I am going to study the “bowling for beginners” pamphlet I picked up there and study it, erm, studiously until I’m so good I might actually be in a position to win a game. I just wish I could bowl straight, rather than in a curve :/
