Dear all,

Please don’t ask me to upload any Tim Minchin song that isn’t already on the downloads page as it aggravates and annoys me.

Firstly, the songs already there are there because they’re unavailable anywhere else. If the song you want isn’t up there then chances are that it’s available to buy in some shape or form of CD or DVD, in which case, you should obviously do this as of course you’re a fan and care about the artist’s welfare right? I mean obviously Tim will get a cut of whatever merchandise he sells but what if people only downloaded what he has to sell? I mean, it’s not that hard to put two and two together is it?

Being skint is not an excuse for asking for a song to be uploaded either as I myself am living on a small budget yet I’ve still managed to amass three CDs, his DVD and at least 15 canvas bags too so there’s proof that it’s possible to buy things without having much money. I mean it’s not that hard to sort out a budget is it?

Also, chances are you’re going to ask me to put up some song that’s on YouTube so why not listen to it on that? I don’t own any of Sammy J’s CDs yet if I want my fix of his stuff I’ll quite happily wander over to YouTube and listen to the songs on there. Is it really that hard to press the ‘Replay’ button after every listen or choose a different song?

I know it’s human nature to want something for nothing but I’m just not gonna bow down to your craving for this with regards to Tim’s music as I believe that if something can be bought then it should be bought. This should be obvious for you seeing as you call yourself a fan. After all, any fan worth their salt, in my eyes, should be more than willing to fork out a bit of cash for something to with what they claim they’re a fan of, especially if we’re talking about their main product, in this case Tim’s DVD and CDs.

So yeah, don’t ask cos you definitely won’t get. I suggest you go [here] instead and buy it instead.
