Catherine wanted to see what we’d done today with regards to our e-cards. The consensus was that mine looked good, or at least the background did. Apparently the little fella looks too fake and could I consider making him out of something, scanning that in and then using that? Answer: no. If I’m gonna animate then I’ll animate in Flash as I find it to be enjoyable for the most part. Doing something like that will just make me hate what I’m doing and therefore it won’t get done and/or be as good as it could be. She might have had a point about the snakes though, they might have to change, if only for variety.

I also seem to be something of a spender recently. A new week and a new budget and I’ve gone and blown it on shoes. I’m such a girl. They are nice shoes though and if my other ones are anything to go by, they’ll be comfortable too. Unfortunately it does mean that I didn’t forward plan well enough as I now have little money to spend at Ginger’s gig on Wednesday but I get the feeling that I’ll probably just run into next week’s budget and live on next to nothing then. What happened? I used to be so good at saving too…
