Today I have had something of a Ginger fetish.

In the wee hours of this morning (about 4:30am) I ordered Clam Abuse’s album Stop Thinking for less than £3. The obvious connection between the two sentences is that Ginger is a member of Clam Abuse, who make, interesting, but definitely awesome music so £3 is a bit if a bargain.

Later on today I decided to check out Howling Willie (to put his name politely) who is essentially Ginger’s tongue-in-cheek country alter-ego. His album is called ‘World of Filth’ because filth is exactly what this album is - the offensiveness is way over the top. However, anyone with half a brain should be able to realise that this is actually a comedy album of sorts and that the excessive brash lyrics are not meant to be taken seriously. Obviously, I listened to a few tracks and then headed straight to buy the album and with any luck that should be with me by next Wednesday. Yay. If you think you can withstand the onslaught of country music coupled with opprobrious lyrics then this comes highly recommended, though it’s obviously not one for the easily offended. [Listen here].
