Talk about a spur of the moment thing. It’s now been confirmed that I’m going to Latitude Festival down in Suffolk. To make things sound even more crazy, I’m going and sharing a tent with Sorrel, whom I’ve never met before. Yays.

We’re gonna be parked at the front of the comedy tent for all three days cos the comedy’s why we’re going. There doesn’t seem to be any decent bands confirmed yet anyway so it’s no big loss. The headliners are Ross Noble, Bill Bailey and Rich Hall. Rich Hall seems to be a bit out of place in that lot seeing as the other two charge at least £20 for one of their shows and I saw Rich Hall and Otis Lee Crenshaw (who’s also playing) for £15. But still, three decent comedians provided Bill doesn’t do old material (and by old I mean stuff from his DVDs). There’s also Russell Howard, Jon Richardson, Tim Minchin, Simon Amstell, Phill Jupitus and Andrew Lawrence.

Fun times will be had. I can’t wait!
