More work today. I think it’s safe to say the the game/e-card thing’s all sorted now apart from the winning and losing sequences and the voice overs. I’m actually quite surprised as I was expecting it to take me much longer than a weekend to make. That and combined with the fact I’ve only spent a few hours a day on it too. I think the fact it’s interactive has made it easier for me as there’s less animation to be done, which I hated on the other e-cards, and more fun coding to make it do stuff. I just hope it doesn’t get too badly slated at the crit session on Thursday.

So what else have I done today? To be honest, not a lot. I’ve mainly sat and watched pointless documentaries because I’ve run out of House to watch and now I’ve run out of pointless documentaries. Such is life I guess. I wish I could get into The Riches as that’d give me a season and a bit of something to watch but it’s just not happening for me. I guess the obvious thing to do is to read the books I’ve not go round to reading yet. I mean there’s a hell of a lot of them - just looking round this room I can see seven that I’ve either not started or not finished. This could be a rather good plan should I get bored during Ed Byrne’s gig tomorrow…

Speaking of which, I was thinking about how I’m going to be seeing him in Ireland at the start of May and how it means I’ll have seen him in two UK countries (the gig’s in Northern Ireland). This isn’t really too unusual as I’ve seen lots of comedians in two countries due to going to Edinburgh Fringe and then their regular theatre gigs but then I thought of Jason Byrne, who’s also on the bill in Ireland. I saw him at Edinburgh (Scotland) last August, Salford (England) in January and soon Armagh (Ireland) in May. Does anyone know if he has any upcoming gigs in Wales I could possibly attend? It’s especially weird considering I’ve only seen Tim in two countries. you’d have thought I’d have had all four ticked off when it comes to him.
