Today’s not been so bad I guess. Nothing too harsh was said about my card so there’s not much change, just stuff to add that needed to be added anyway so I’ll probably do that over the weekend along with one of the reports and then it’s just a case of writing another two reports by Friday. I’m sure it’ll be fine but knowing my writing they’ll probably let both of my modules down in terms of marks. Oh well, they’re only worth about 20% each. Obviously that’s not to say that I’ll be slack about them, just that it’s not the end of the world if they’re not fantastic.
There was something fun waiting for me back at home after the crit session too, and that was ‘Stop Thinking’, the album by Clam Abuse, which is yet another of Ginger’s side projects and is essentially Ginger, Alex Kane from AntiProduct and the drummer from The Prodigy. Interesting is one way to describe it and totally awesome is another way too. See for yourself at [their MySpace].
So with the plugging done, and it really does deserve it cos it’s a fantastic album, I’ll present the bit about it that made me giggle. I ordered it from the independent online record store, Vinyl Tap, where the price on the site was £5.26 or something similar. Now this didn’t include postage and neither did the postage show up at the checkout but I dunno, I guess it didn’t bother me too much cos it was an independent store after all and if I’d really wanted to I could’ve checked the postage price myself and added it to the CD’s price but I didn’t. I’m kinda glad I didn’t otherwise this photo wouldn’t be as funny:

I guess that that’s proof that Ginger’s in league with the man downstairs after all. It might also explain why he’s not dead yet too.
