It’s official. Today’s Doctor Who was so good that I’m already watching it for the second time.

I did have some issues with it though. One of them was the montage when Donna went home. I actually shouted at my TV when it appeared cos it’s so stupid. Yes, you want to show how much fun and excitement Donna’s had on her adventures with The Doctor but please, it’s only episode 4. Surely there’s no need for that kinda stuff already. Unless of course your script is short and you need filler. Personally I think RTD may have added it in seeing as he seems to love that sorta stuff.

The other bugbear, which didn’t actually hit me until half way through, is Rattingan. Yes, he’s a child prodigy I don’t mind that but why the hell is he based in London? He is, after all, American, right? But I spose it’s Doctor Who where anything to do with aliens has to happen in London.

I did like the idea of the Sontarans being tetchy about not fighting in the Time War though.

Why can’t all Doctor Who episodes be this good?

In other news, uni’s not going as badly as I expected. My e-card’s nearly finished; it’s just missing the voiceover, which I’ll be recording on Monday. I got told my presentation skills were quite good yesterday, which came as something of a surprise to me so I’ve got a presentation to get ready for Friday. My website’s done but you knew that anyway, and the report to go with it is also nearly done. I’m after finishing that report tonight and then doing another one tomorrow then that’s only a presentation and a report to do and then I can start packing for Ireland Yays.
