This might not be of interest to many but I wanna write this down for my benefit mainly.

Tuesday I finished one report, fiddled around with Tim’s MySpace some more and then got stressed at the report I was meant to have written by now. So stressed that I forgot my medication and awoke at 4:01am wondering why I was awake at that time. Why do I never equate waking up early with forgetting my medication? It happens every time I do it after all but then again, I’m barely thinking 10am, never mind stupid o’clock in the morning.

Today I met with my group to talk about the presentation we have to give on Friday and we’ve got the PowerPoint all sorted and we’re meeting again tomorrow to rehearse it. Woo. I then wrote the first half of my last report so I’ve got 500 words to write tomorrow, which isn’t so bad I guess. I then went on a pointless hour-long round trip to uni to have a meeting with our group supervisor which seemed kinda pointless to me, especially when that’s combined with getting in looking like a drowned rat after the heavens opened the moment I went to leave uni and didn’t stop til after I got home, and me still walking with a limp, though for a different reason this time. This time I’ve got a strained muscle in my leg, possibly from walking funny on Monday night due to the bruise, and I can’t get it rested until Sunday as far as I can tell.

I’ve started packing for Ireland tonight and that’s gone decently. Obviously there’s a fair bit I can’t pack because it’s either wet or because I’ll need it before I go but I think I’m about half done and I should be able to shove a few more clothes in there in the morning.

I feel the urge to talk about TV now as I’ve watched some fun things today, the first one being The Apprentice. The task this week was to design a set of greetings cards that weren’t your obvious choices, like get well soon, birthdays, public holidays etc. Now, I love irony so I would have quite happily bought some of Renaissance’s cards but obviously for the irony and not for the actual message. They’d decided to go for cards to increase awareness of environmentalism. I’m sure you don’t need the irony pointing out to you.

The other thing I’d quite like to talk about is Spicks and Specks cos I quite enjoyed this week’s episode, although I suspect that may have something to do with my current want to steal Hamish Blake.
