I have spent a lot of monies today. Well, not technically today I guess, but it will be coming out of my account soon enough. I just paid for the rest of our Edinburgh accommodation see, which is one less worry for me. I’m sure I’ve said before about how it’s a basement apartment and how we’re going to be like the IT Crowd, though now Sorrel’s joining us we’ll have to think of a character for her to be though I think all that’s left is Jen and Denham/Douglas left so she’ll have to take her pick from them…

More monies look set to be spent tomorrow when apparently the Fringe box office will be opening (they’re only over a week late, no big deal…) so I’ll be buying tickets for myself and Alick for twenty one shows. I’ll probably organise a couple of other shows I want to see at a later date too but I’ll have to speak to Sorrel about that.

In other monies news, I sorted out my finances today and have more money than I anticipated. Don’t you just love it when that happens? I’m thinking about using it to update my computer as it’s getting on for three years old now and is consequently lagging so some more memory would be lovely, plus the addition of a DVD writer that actually works. I’m on my second one now and the same thing’s happened with this one as happened with my first; it’s stopped writing DVDs though it’s strangely fine with writing CDs. I think I’ll get me a nice internal hard drive too after the kerfuffle I’ve had with this external one.
