So I’ve started tidying my room in order to help me find stuff I might need for Latitude. Right now I’m not sure how well the tidying’s going because it looks pretty much the same as it did before so I can only wonder if it’s actually gonna get to a tidy state at all. Mind you, I have found a Mac to take with me seeing as it’s forecast to rain right now, though I guess even if it wasn’t there’s no harm taking it just to be absolutely sure. I also found the canvas bag that prompted the tidying and have duly sewed up the hole and seen to the dodgy stitching and handle reinforcement so it’s nice and sturdy now - perfect for taking lots of water into the arena at Latitude in. At some point I will need to make a list of things that need to be bought though. Probably Wednesday so I can get them when I go shopping at Meadowhall with Alena and my sister.

I’ve also booked me tickets to see yet more comedy, this time at City Varieties. I’m gonna be going to see Jeremy Hardy again as I saw him in my first year and he was great. I know he’s not a young people’s comedian but I’m going for the laughs and not how credible I’ll be by going. I’m also seeing Rich Hall again cos, well, I think we all know why (he’s awesome). He’s back touring his split show with Otis Lee Crenshaw again and I’m just a sucker for him - it’s just a shame I’m not called Brenda. Also going to go see Brendon Burns, whom my only experience of is what happened during Mark’s last marathon show in Edinburgh so that could be an interesting one. Apparently I’m also seeing him at a price cheaper than what I would have paid if I were seeing him at Edinburgh this year. Bonus. Finally I’m seeing Stephen K Amos cos he’s another one I’m missing at Edinburgh who I’d quite like to see so this adequately makes up for it.
