So I’ve bought a few things since I’ve got back from Edinburgh. First thing’s first, some new memory for my desktop as 1gb of RAM just isn’t cutting it any more so I’m adding an extra 2gb so hooray for that. It’ll be like having a new PC again I hope.
I also bought me a ticket for a live event that isn’t comedy. My goodness, that’s a bit peculiar. Yes, I’ve just paid over the odds for a Wildhearts ticket for their gig at Sheffield Academy. A ticket that has a face value of £18.50 has gone and cost me £23.06 with booking fees and postage. Seriously. How can they justify these costs? It does not cost £2.25 for an envelope and a first class stamp. Grr. But still, on the bright side, Wildhearts. Yay.
And today I got me a bit of a bargain. I bought me Andrew Collins’s most recent book That’s Me In The Corner for 50p from the charity shop my mum volunteers for. It was found with a 3 for 2 Waterstone’s sticker on and a creased page where chapter two starts so my guess is that it’s the third (free) one, someone didn’t like it after a chapter and threw it out. Poor Collins. At least it’s in a good home now though.
In other fun news I’ve decided which DSLR I want for my 21st birthday. I have named him Ginger in reference to two of my favourite musicians and hopefully I’ll have him sooner rather than later. I anticipate me going out and taking photos of anything and everything, which’ll be something to do.
